I don't want to but I need too!

Im going to do the 90 day rehab. I realize that I need the help. Im just sooo pissed off at how I became this drunk person. I have been packing but still have to get everything set. Im thankfull that I live where I do to get this help. Still sucks that I need it though.

Great to hear. Apply yourself fully to your own recovery and gather the tools to stay sober once you get out.

Good luck.

Glad to hear you are taking advantage of this opportunity Chloe.

Yeah, it sucks that I'm an alcoholic too, and I was pissed many times about it...still am occasionally. For me though, accepting that I am an alcoholic and being OK with it was the only way I was able to move forward. Getting sober because you "have to" and not because you "want to" is not always the most successful method. Rehab is a fantastic opportunity, please learn all you can and keep an open mind.

Good job Chloe. Use this time to build a base for getting yourself better. You deserve it.

Hi Chloe.

You're doing an amazing different thing in your life! And different has to be better than the same.

I'm a newbie to this forum. It looks amazing, btw.

I'm not at the stage where I'm ready to go to rehab. I'm still tinkering with strategies.

I'm a heavy drinker and sometimes I think that rehab should be an option before we 'hit bottom' - if that even means anything. I know I have a building problem now, and 30 days or more away from temptation would help me 'reset' and get away from the withdrawal.

Rehab would be difficult work-wise. It's a big sacrifice.

What have you had to do, Chloe, to prepare for this?
