Treat Yo Self

Anyone have any fun, delicious mocktail recipes I can make at home?

It would be nice to have something other than just soda, soda, and more soda. Sometimes I make iced green tea too or buy some cranberry lime seltzer water. It's just all getting a bit old. I do have a sodastream,so I can carbonate my own stuff at home too,

I start everything with a base of LaCroix Lime club soda, which is really cheap at Costco! Just bought 6 - 15 packs!

2/3 Club soda with 1/3 Montmorency cherry juice, fresh lime squeeze.
If needed a tsp of homemade simple syrup. (50/50 sugar/water boiled to dissolve and stored in fridge) Montmorency cherry juice has the added benefit of helping with sleep!

Club soda and Mojito mix - add a few sprigs of fresh mint

Sparkling white grape juice & club soda, slice lime

I haven't found a supermarket brand of juice that I like for a mixer .....
Tried several and they ended up in the trash!

I like creating my own concoctions. My fave right now is a San Pellegrino pomegranate and orange juice mixed with the strongest ginger brew (also called ginger beer, though it's no -alcoholic) I can find. It's sweet and sort of spicy (fom the ginger) at the same time. Delish!

Bitters can go a long way to add a depth to a drink you can't get from fruit juices. Just make sure they're not alcohol based!

Do you happen to have an electric juicer? You can pick them up pretty cheaply. Pineapple combined with lemon to taste is to die for :-) If you have one, there are an infinite number of combos you can come up with.

If cocktails were your 'thing', make sure the mocktails aren't a potential trigger for you, Daria

Seltzer with lime and lemon.
Seltzer with any kind of juice.
Craft root beer.
Iced Teas
Smoothies (protein powder, berries, banana- or protein powder, almond milk and peanut butter- or even just ice and a juice you like- you can get as creative as you like).
