Ive been emotionally up and down which is to be expected so Im told. Im finding myself again, I spoke to my ex the other day (hes my best friend) and he said Im back to my old self, I had to ask him who that was and he told me. I looked at pictures of myself years ago before the depression and before the heavy drinking.... and hes right I got a glimpse of old self, havent seen that person in years and I felt happy! Still a long way to go I know that, Im starting counselling soon. Some days I dont even think about alcohol which is a huge milestone but not one I can be complacent with.
