Well I made it through the first Friday night not drinking and it felt great. I live in a college town in the South and college football is a big part of our fall. First game of the season today, so that means tailgating with the same friends as years past. This year without drinking. Today will be a great first step. I am cautiously optimistic about the day. It is my hope that if today goes well that it will set the tone for days and weeks to come.

Great day with great people. No pressure to join them at all. They have seen me in years past and understand that I get out of control. No drinking. Very happy about the way the day went. Looking forward to continuing this journey.
