8 months and a big fat reward :)
My bonus for making it through this precarious 8 months of wild ups, downs and lots of sideways, was I just landed a dream role in an off Broadway production.
This character will be the most physically and emotionally demanding one I have played to date, which is exactly what I need to keep myself far away from the thought of drinking. I never did drink while rehearsing or performing. But this one feels especially like a gift from the Universe, as it will keep my sadness at bay as well in regards to my mother and my empty nest angst.
I cant really thank you all enough for holding my hand through these last 21 million sober heartbeats.
I will be giving a shout out to SR in the playbill.
