need help for an advice
I decided to join recovery support coz I am in a relationship with an alcoholic person and drug addict. I am not fully aware if it is addiction because he always have drink and smoking every single night.
I love him that I am willing him to change. I just don't know if this will help in our relationship.
I hope to hear some advice to anyone who understand more than I do.

I was the addict, my wife is sober.
I somehow managed for about 15 years.
She never left me.
I worked the whole time, paid bills, vacationed.....did everything.
I was just drunk pretty much the whole time.
She let me be. I finally quit recently. Things are better.
It will depend on how you and your partner deal w the addiction.
If you fight a lot, if he likes to drive while loaded etc.
My wife is very religious. I am pretty sure she prayed for me all the time.
