Hello and welcome to the forum. Craigslist is a great idea and I've always seen people be very open about what they are looking for in a roommate. They specify gender preference, smoker/non-smoker, drinker/non-drinker, holder of a day job vs. night job. I wouldn't hesitate to post an ad being very specific about what you want in a roommate. Don't just stop at the sobriety either, list whatever other preferences you have. Living with a stranger can be stressful enough, best to go in to it as much on the same page as possible.

Congrats robberbar on 4 Months ! Lots of great choices here in the replies . I do see adds for Non drinkers in the paper . Maybe you could reply to some of them instead of placing your own . Unless your wanting to have your own place .
For me I like having my own that way, your not the one that has to pick up and leave if something goes wrong Good luck with the move .!

Congratulations on 5 months sober. In the UK (where I live) you can usually specify conditions such as non drinker to the lettings agency
