Normal?

Just wondering if it's normal to be so tired at 18 days off of suboxone. I'm just exhausted.
I'm eating right, drinking water and sleeping ok. Not as good as before i stopped the pills

All i feel like doing is sitting around.

Hi peanut. I don't know anything about suboxone, but I was definitely exhausted from alcohol withdrawal. It took me a while to feel energetic & well again. We've beaten ourselves up badly - we time need to heal. Nice job on your 18 days off it!

From what I have read I believe it can be entirely normal - yes. Apparently, it can take some time before energy levels get back to normal, but it does happen :-)

Tooshabby, I love your avatar. It makes me smile.

I got a little worried at work because I had to push myself all day and when I walked up the stairs at work, I was absolutely winded. Now that I think about it, it's possible that I haven't been sleeping that great. I wake up every hour or so and I'm constantly tossing and turning.

I take ambien for sleep but it's not working so great. God, I hate what I've done to my poor brain chemicals.

I am going to have to start exercising whether I want to or not. We have a treadmill so there's no excuse.

And yes Dee, I think I figured out this posting thing.

Hey peanut. I'm on day 9. I am also exhausted. Even if I get 6 to 7 hrs of sleep I'm still so tired. I've been exercising everyday and eating very healthy. I hope with a little more time that I'll feel better. Hang in there.
