I finally did it...

I finally found the courage to call and make a doctor's appointment to see how my body has handled the many years of abuse I've put it through...

I am really anxious but trying to tell myself there is nothing more I can do until the tests are done and I have the results.

Scratch that, there is one thing I know I can do: not drink. Even thoigh I am scared I feel somewhat of a weight lifted by simply making the call.

Hi Kamm. Good for you! Making those appointments is sometimes so hard. You are absolutely right that you can start on a healthier path by not drinking.

I wish you good outcomes!

Great decision, congratulations on making the call. I know for me it was a huge relief to see a doctor and get checked out, hope your results are positive.

Great step! Knowledge can lead to healing. And the body has a way of healing itself if you allow for it!
