one week
Big day for me! One week sober. Haven't had a week under me in a very long time. I don't miss the hangovers...the guilt staying up after hubby went to bed...the damage control I'd have to do on social media and text the next day (not even remembering I no posted or texted) not remembering what or if I ate before bed...usually looked in microwave or trash for that info...watching the clock to see how many hours of sleep will I get if I have two more...oh and let's not forget when I actually did go to work coming home because I was "sick"....
Anyway...sorry for the rant...feels good to say all that and know I don't have to live that anymore. Here's to many more weeks guys! Thanks for your support!!!

If you get an urge to drink, read your post. It is a very, very good reminder. This is what is meant by replaying the tape before one chooses to drink again.
I had something similar I printed off and taped on my mirror. I'd read it daily while brushing my teeth.

Second off, I literally could've wrote this myself (except that I'm at 0 days sober

Congrats Christi on a week! I always say first week is the worst week. Keep a copy of what you wrote here and read through it next time you feel tempted
