A tsunami of depression washed over me today

I fought back with SR. I came here and posted. I found music i loved and shared what I love. I found music I hadn't heard...

This is a performance I wish I had been live for:

Hugs Trach. Would it help to talk about it or is it just one of those things? Maybe some talk of Okra.

Thanks. I was at work and it hit me and I could have crushed pets with my bare hands. How can one hurt so bad for no reason?

Anyway, I hit the mobile app, read some SR and felt better.

It is so good to not feel alone when these feelings hit you.

Newbie's, you listening? I've been at this for a couple of years now. When it gets deep you come here and scream, OK? We will get each other through.

yo trachemys, you picked a good group to help you... mother's finest and SR's finest too.

I know exactly what you're feeling. Sharing here always helps me when I am feeling low. Hang in there mate!

here's something to keep you occupied... fleetwood mac before they went pop... when the band was awesome...

Sorry you're hurting; music and SR are powerful healers. Well done for choosing both.

I'm glad that you're feeling better and staying close to SR. It's great that you found solace in music too. I know that SR has been a major part of why I've been sober for almost 100 days now.

(((Trach))) So glad you came here and posted! I don't know why depression hits but it's very real and can be very debilitating. Stay strong and stay here -- xoxo

There's been a lot of death and dying around me lately. Another incident noted to me that if I were to go only five people would know and care. Five people. Hell of a life I've lived, huh?

Well, over a dozen people have posted on this thread because they DO care about you. I'm sure there are many more out there, including here on SR, that you have made some type of connection with. So I think 5 doesn't come close to the number of people that care about you.

I'm sorry you're going through a hard time, but I'm glad you're here among friends. Hope your day gets better.

Hugs

Just kiddin'
