Candlelight Vigil

Yikes...how to write? My friend lost a son 2 days ago. He was 16. He was being treated for mono. Seriously...MONO! Tonight there was a candlelight service. Between tears and the magical transformationations of of a summer night illuminated by hundreds of candles, I thought of this community. Just a hug friends. I pray for the kids we are responsible for. Hugs to all.

That is so sad! I had mono as a teen and it's amazing how much it can kick your butt! I literally couldn't get out of a chair without assistance.

I'll keep you and your friend in my thoughts.

Nothing as sad and perplexing as the loss of child/young adult. It just makes no sense.

Heartfelt thoughts for all the loved ones who dearly miss this sweet soul - so sorry.
