I'm signing the lease on my new place tomorrow
And I am VERY excited about it!
I swear, my AH has some sort of finely tuned radar, though. He was epically quacktastic tonight. Long story short, I suspect he walked off his job early, and went somewhere to drink. I started getting texts from him in the middle of the afternoon, which started out with declarations of how he knows he's messing up, he needs to go to a meeting, blah blah blah, then ending with a diatribe about what a great guy he is and how nobody on his jobsite listens to him. At some point while we were out, he arrived home and retreated immediately to his bedroom, where he is hiding/passed out/sleeping.
Anyway, there was a silver lining to the quacking. Even at the beginning, the texts about how he knows he's messing up, needs to go to a meeting...barely a pang of hope in me. I've heard it all before, and this is NOT my first rodeo. But even six months ago, I would have had a hard time not developing an unhealthy amount of hope. I've come a long way, baby!
