eye twitching and brain fog

Has anyone had an onset of eye twitches over a month into recovery along with brain fog, coordination and vision problems?

Yes. I drank hard for 20 years. It took a few months for both of those to ease up, but they did. Welcome.

It certainly can happen, don't rule out seeing a doctor if it becomes too troublesome or worrying to you though. Your body and mind both need time to adjust.

My eyes were sensitive to light for the first week and i had brain fog for over a month too Frana it wouldnt be a bad idea to book a apt with the Dr or Optician

6 months ago on a sober stretch I saw the Dr. 3 weeks into it.
Turned out I am prediabetic- glad I caught it early.
Don't want to worry you but maybe get your blood work done just to rule anything out.

I had blood work done. All normal.
I also haven't touched caffeine since I stopped drinking 38 days ago

Good good.
I had the eye twitch thing waaay back before I drank.
It was stress.
Adjusting can be stressful.

Welcome Frana , Yes -Could be from with drawls still . I almost think I seen something about eyes on the PAW's thread hear . It's a big help with a lot of different things that one goes through . Maybe someone can put that link up for you . I'm bad at copy & paste

I know my eyes will twitch with staining my eyes or being over tired . Hope you can find some something out soon

Eye twitching for me happened around 6 or 7 months in. I chalked it up to stress until I saw a thread about it. I had no idea it could be a withdrawl symptom or that it could come on after that amount of time. I had it for about 2 or 3 weeks then it vanished.
