Apparently I am an alcoholic. A functioning one. I never have any desire to drink until I'm on the way home from work. So no more..... starting now. I know why I started drinking. To avoid dealing with problems at the time. Those problems are gone but I started a bad habit and routine . I can sit here and say I have an addictive personality, but all B.S. aside injust need to stop. Just because I know its wrong and bad for you. Can't think of one good thing that has come from drinking. My biggest question is what triggers me now to want to get alcohol on the way home from work. I'm fine all day. Feel great.... Then I feel like crap when I drink..... Maybe not at first, but eventually it feels like crap. Then wash and repeat. Tomorrow I will leave work and not stop at the store. No matter what. That's my start. One day at a time. Let's see how much $$$ I save by not stopping. I'm actually afraid to add it up. :-( BTW..... I answered those questions because I had to be honest with myslef. Not happy about some of those answers but its time to face reality.......

Personally I don't like/agree with the "alcoholic" designation...I used to tell people I had a rum addiction...so now I had an addiction and I will be in abstinence mode forever.
What triggers you is your addictive voice, so learn what it is, when you hear it and shut it down.
