First post

Hello Everyone,

I've been lurking on the forum for awhile and decided to finally join and take full advantage of what the site has to offer.

I'm currently 8 weeks sober, the first few weeks were horrible (never want to go back there again!) many ups and downs but feel things are finally taking a turn for the better.

So just a quick intro and looking forward to getting to know you all better.

My first few weeks were horrible too, but know that you never have to do that again.

Nice work on reaching 8 weeks. I know what you mean about never wanting to go back there. I wish I'd kept a diary about my feelings in those early weeks. The memory of that hell tends to dim with time. Glad to have you with us.

I'm just starting to journal, I think it's going to be a big help to me to actually get it outta my head and reflect on it later down the road
