People experience a range of bodily response to the dawning days of sobriety.

Mine also was tremendous fatigue. Ride it out -- it'll get better.

You are doing great! All I did was sleep in the beginning. Don't feel guilty about it, you are healing. Your body heals the best when it's resting. Think about all the nights of poor, semi-sleep you have had up until now. You have some catching up to do. Let yourself heal.

I experienced the same thing! Sleep sleep sleep! When you can, try to take short walks. Also be sure to eat healthy foods and drink LOTS of water! You can also check with your doctor if you are alarmed about anything.

Hang in there. I'm right here with you. :-)

Being tired it very common. Mine did carry on this time for 6 weeks, I did have blood work done just to rule out any other problem. Your body and brain need to heal. If your husband is supportive, like mine was, he didn't mind taking the lead role with the kids, because he knew that I was shutting down drinking. It just takes time... I drank LOTS of water and lemon... the best detox in my opinion. Little steps.

Sounds about right for my Day 3!!

The body can't repair from years of drinking in a matter of days, it's going to take time!!

Hang in there!!

Yes, definitely blue - I was exhausted from all I'd put my body through. We need to heal -and you're on your way.

Glutamine rebound was pretty harsh for me. Terrible bouts of insomnia. Thank God for Coast to Coast AM. The fatigue lessened about the time my appetite would take off, possibly because proper nutrition helped both my energy and my chemical imbalance.

Hang in there.

i am on day 30 and am exhausted. Can take a two hour nap and fall asleep hours later and sleep all night. I kinda enjoy it but am a little worried. Glad to hear I am not the only one with this.
