Congrats on ditching the booze and cigarettes at the same time!

Good on you for not drinking. The fatigue is different for everyone. The first 3 months were really up and down for me.

Keep up the good work.

Congratulations on day 11. That's great! I'm glad you didn't drink. It's never how we expect it to be. Much worse.

Congrats on day 11. "CleanMachine" would be a good user name for someone who is thinking of joining us on SR.

Don't forget that posting here as soon as you get those urges to drink can be a huge help to yourself. Sometimes just getting those thoughts out into the open keeps them from turning into action. Wishing you the best today, Toni!

Brilliant work. You can do it. Eat well and I try to think about how much more positive life is. I've felt the same and had a warm bath just now and hypnosis reminding ourselves we deserve care - not the abuse of alcohol.

We bashed ourselves up pretty good for a long time Toni - give yourself time to recuperate. Stay positive, stay sober and your energy will return

The other thing I can think of besides not drinking , is when I had tried to quit smoking I felt like I was dragging , no energy , cobwebs in my head even . Only thing I can remember doing is eating a lot of hard candies . All that sugar must of worked . Everything pass's in time - Hold on .
