CRAFT and SMART

Is anyone familiar with CRAFT and SMART recovery philosophies which are complementary to nar-anon/al-anon? Family & Friends - An Alternative to Al-Anon and Intervention This resonates with me because of the evidence-based methods and the resounding reviews of the book Beyond Addiction. I am going to buy myself and my father copies of it but would love to hear your valuable opinions.

Hi Alterity,

As far as I know SMART and CRAFT are great and have better results than AA (from what I can gather) and also compliment AA for recovery.

There is a Friends and Family Secular Forum that uses CRAFT, SMART, and other programs.
