Oops!
Yesterday was a bad day.
I've felt bad all day today.
So now it's time to say goodbye, not to me, but the bottle that thinks it's a boomerang.
This is my first post on the site, it's the first step in concoring this damned addiction to alcohol.k
Best, Fred

welcome to the forum and the posting side.
If you have decided that enough is enough and are ready to put the bottle down for good, there is nothing that can stop you achieving that, You Can Do It, anything that tells you different is the addiction talking and wanting to stay alive.
Read , post, stop by often, this is a place full of people who know where you are coming from and there is alot of great advice and experience to draw from.
Myself I found RR and AVRT to be the 'thing' for me , if you don't know what that is there are threads about in the Secular Connections forum.
wish you well and hope to see you around

It's great you decided to quit. Drinking can really be a vicious circle and it's amazing how we want to hold onto something that consistently hurts us and makes us feel bad but that's part of addiction. Hope to see you around the forums.
