Just realized how much I've changed...
...since I first logged on in 2007.
My marriage is coming to a close as I filed for separation from my AW(called 'Limited Divorce' in Maryland), and I just wanted to check back to see if the site was still up, and decided to reread some of my posts/responses.
It's like I remember that guy, but I don't want to hear what he has to say/post.
I want to put my hands on his shoulders and look dead in his eyes and tell him: 'No.' And I know by the look in his/my eyes, that glimmer being a plea for just a sliver of hope, something to hold on to, anything to just get him/me thru to the next day, but I won't let him finish.
'Sorry,' I'd interrupt,'but it's just not going to happen. Not for you and your kids, anyway'.
There would be no need for words anymore.
I'd let go of his shoulders, and then I'd just turn and walk away.

Hi Spinner. Good for you, glad to hear it. Funny how things can look so different to us when we look back on them, and on the person we used to be.
Your post made me cry. I'm pretty emotional today ...
Best wishes. The best is yet to come!
