S'goin on yallz
24 year old recovering addict/alcoholic in Newport News, VA. Just wanted to say "Allo". Been scopin the board for a while and figured might be a good time to introduce myself. Cleaned up off E, coke, heroin, meth, ketamine, acid, weed, and alcohol about 2 years ago. Picked up 18 months in AA last week after trying to "get the hang of it" for 7 years. Funny how things work when you listen to people who have been there before.
To any kidz out there my age strugglin, stay strong. I went from being homeless and slingin drugs in the rave scene to making am upper middle class salary and living in a condo in the nicer part of Newport News (if there is such a thing). Email addy is in my acct and I'm actively looking for people around (roughly ;-) ) my age group to start a young people's AA network in the Hampton Roads area.

Hi! I just wanted to say that I'm so incredibly impressed with what you've accomplished!! I'll keep an eye out for your advice; I want to nip this in the bud now and not continue my cycle of drinking (i'm 25), so I'm trying to listen to the wise and experienced right now :spectacle .
