Just thought I'd give a little hello, I've creeped on this site for over a year, posted a couple of times, but I've decided to pursue a recovery group with more effort. Im currently 19 days OPIATE FREE Now that I'm feeling more human I've started realizing if Im gonna make this work, it's time to get serious and reach out for help with the emotional demons that bring me back to using everytime. I cut all contact with my using friends/connections and good grief I am lonely, thankfully my husband has stood by my side this entire time, I dont know what Id do without him!

19 days is fantastic! Congratulations on the achievement. To remind myself of who I am when sober/clean is very honoring. I slip when I decided I don't like me. It is always a process of being accepting.

Thanks for the kind words and support, I actually ventured out last night to check out an na meeting and the address I was given online ended up being a city bbq restaurant that just opened. So, I decided to stick with online, lol.
