meltdown

My shrink & neurologist appointment is next week. But today I just couldn't keep it together ... Started hyperventilating heart raced, I was alone freakin'!!!

EMTs came, talked me "down" once I focused my breathing came together my brother started texting me to focus my breathing. So I ended up laying here breathing & texting.

Take it easy man. I have had panic attacks also, there's nothing worse! The good news is that if you can get in and complete those visits, you will have some great options from the DR. Stick with it, you'll get there. Hope you can rest in a quiet place tonight.

I have meds to help with my panic attacks till I see my shrink next week at least. So my primary doctor was very understanding of my situation. Again TY all ..

Now if I can sleep more than 2-3 hours a night, that be great ..

i never even new what they where I just thought i was gonna drop dead soon or something. Finally i mentioned what was happeing to another drinking buddy he said i was just having panic attacks no biggie he has them all the time too. ::facepalm:: he even had the paramedics out to his house in the middle of the night i never made it that far. Since i new it was "just a panic attack" i figured why call they wont do nothing for me and i sucked it up.

when I quit drinking they eased up thankfully but I still had issues.

one thing that worked for me in the earlier days was apple cider vinegar in little bit of water like a tablespoon or 2 in a cup of water and i'd chug that down. Lots of times it'd take the edge off I dunno why but it did.

The anxiety is something that has only gotten worse quiting drinking. I've tried several different things; so I know it runs deeper than anything. But TY ...
