OT: Sad News
My mother passed away last night at age 88.
Very sad, but relieved she no longer has to suffer through dementia.
Will be in touch.

My heart goes out to you, friend. You are always an inspiration to the rest of us, and I hope we can be that for you now.
Incidentally, have you thought about the fact that the cluster of events in your life the past couple of weeks would have pushed you to use before you got into recovery? The fact you are coping with all this healthily should be an encouragement!

i'm not an addict. one of my ex's is. but i'm no stranger to trauma or loss. spent a lot of time thinking about that today...once I get the use of my other arm back, i'll share.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. It's a blessing though, that she will not be ravaged by dementia. May she rest sweetly. And may your memories of her best times be strong in your mind to comfort you.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom, way too much for anyone
to hold in their heart.
What Chicory said, read that many times dear Zoso. She must of
been a beautiful mom.
I will hold "my" mom extra close today, I love my mom as much as you
love yours.
