Day two and want a drink

Just yesterday I was thinking about how badly I want to test, and now I just want a drink. What is wrong with me

Nothing is wrong with you other than you might be and alcoholic like a lot of us . I have been drinking non alcoholic bloody Mary`s and Margaritas when I crave a drink. A walk or other type of exercise might help.

Lscotty - nothing is wrong with you.

That little sneaky voice can creep up any time. The thing people like us have to do is find something to do instead.

It is just a craving and it will pass. AND when it does you will come out stronger on the other end and more prepared for the next time!

Walk it out, call a friend, eat, turn on the TV, read here.

This too shall pass. You deserve happiness. Just think of how awful tomorrow will be if you drink.

Play that tape allllllll the way through!

It can be tough at times.
But, you can get through it. Just find things to keep you busy and keep your mind off the drink. Stay here and chat with us a while.
We've all been there. YOU can do it!

The first few days of sobriety are the hardest, but as more time passes, it gets easier, hang in there Lscotty!

Nothing is wrong with you Scotty, you just have to get through these early days. Try getting out and doing something physical to distract yourself. It really will get easier.

Awesome that your posting about it lscotty. That can take the power away and It can also help others.
When I get cravings I think there's something wrong with me too. Just a part of my addiction.
some say that eating sweets helps
