Learning my way
Today I sat is a bar having some drinks and didn't make it to work! I have come to realize that I'm an addict. Laying next to my daughter while she sleeps brings tears to my eyes. I could even take her to do anything because I was too hungover. I'm scared. She leaves for the summer, what will I do? I look at street people and can relate, they probably never thought they would be where they are. I need help. This is my first step. I pray I will succeed.

towards the end of my drinking I looked at street people and I thought you know, that might be ok. I can beg to make money for a bottle a day then none of it would matter.
I'm 14 months sober now and I am very, very glad I hung on. it gets better, it can for you too.
