Weekend June 18 Pt 2

The last part:

http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...june-18-a.html

My apologies for the title. I had to make it this short because it wouldn't post otherwise.

Wah, wah, wah! Weasel should get courtesy shotgun since he can never, ever get shotgun as the thread starter.

Congratulations Gilmer! That is a spectacular shotgun. I love it! It's all sparkly and stuff.

Bim, I've apparently been stalking you on the F & F forum. Who knew?

Well, I just had to blow money on a new laptop as mine went pop and died. It was going to cost a small fortune to repair, so decided on a new one - now trying to figure it out as my old one was 5 years old, and it appears things are massively advanced now!

So I failed with the smoking, but still good on the drinking. Will try again with the smoking thing tomorrow. Was so stressed out about my computer (all my master's work is still stuck on it) and the expense of a new computer at the worst time, but, I will get through it and try again

I should be able to retrieve everything. It just sucks as I am not working for the summer, because of my son being off school and I work for a University, so either work set, long days, or not at all. So, money is really tight right now. Oh well, I can only do what I can do. At least I did not buy beer too, despite temptation

Beer + cigarettes = expenses you don't need. I found that out the hard way. I'd be rich by now.

So true! And part of my motivation! I will get there. Tomorrow is a new day! I was about to leave for a walk, but storms are beginning to roll in. Did speak to my ex, my son loved his first day of fishing camp! I was worried as it is his first ever camp, I do not know why I worried, he is good with everyone, and everyone always likes him. He was the youngest, but that has never worried him.

sorry weasel, I couldn't resist.

I put 42 plants in the ground. gotta shower up and make dinner. I just put venison steaks in a marinade, have corn on the cob, and I came across vine ripe tomatoes for 98 cents a pound (about 1/2 kilo).
So I grabbed a bunch - and grapes were also .98/lb. We eat what's on sale here when we can. Been snacking on cauliflower all day too.

After shower, I'll get out and water plants that need it - new ones and young ones. Maybe trim up the 2.28 baskets I got and fix em up.

Tomorrow it's gonna be an early start to beat the rain.

Someone I really like from my "Class of..." thread relapsed yesterday. Bit of a punch in the gut.

Hope you are all OK here

I'm sorry Saoutchik. That hurts when someone you are rooting for relapses.
