Crashed the wagon
Not a proud moment at all. Hit 14 days and was so happy, stupid mistake of thinking just one beer in the sun (that was last Friday).
Back to square one, at least you can learn from your mistakes.

I' ve hit a lot of days where I thought a few wouldn't hurt. It did open my eyes that I was using specific days when I condsidered safe to drink.
Back then it events, too. Big game. Drink. Football did me in a lot.
It was rough to get past these triggers. I earned it, Just this once and I can control it this time.
Then, it didn't take anyting special, I was right back where I was before, a drunk.
Glad you have a self-awerness, so hopefully you'll be prepared next time.
I feel for you. You can do it again. I didn't get it right away, I had many failures.
But just remember that first drink and where it'll lead.
You never have to have another day one. And here's hoping you never do.

Snap! I'm in England too and my wagon crashed the weekend before last. Nice sunny day, end of the working week....but I did get back on and learnt where I went wrong.

Hopscotch,
A lot of us have had that experience. It's never just one, is it?
Well, live and learn and move on; tomorrow is a new day and a new start for you.
Don't beat yourself up over this, just recommit to sobriety.
You can do this! We are all here for you, and together we can be successful.

I am in the same boat as you. Exact same situation. Summer time and Christmas time are hard for me to stay sober I have noticed. Just have to keep goin bud. Don't get upset and feel hopeless if you make the same mistake more than once. The path to sobriety has lots of ups and downs.
