yesterday

Yesterday put a serious hurting on me haha. But it was good to get out & walk my "old haunts". See the upgrades to my High School, visit my cousin & her kids. It ended on a somber note as I found out they discovered palops in one of the few friends I have here.

But I still see yesterday as a victory for me. The 7+ miles I walked is taking its toll on me today though. My entire right side is numb & the spasms will not stop. Friday's doctors appointment can not come fast enough.

But it was worth it feeling normal for the first time in well over a year. Today's heat index is 100 !!!!!! So no need to take meds as I don't see me being able to move anyway. Haha

More than my wine - more than my maker, though he's no friend of mine.

Sounds like a victory to me as well. If anything the pain is a good pain..it's because you are exercising and moving those muscles again...they will definitely get better over time if you keep at it.

Yea it is allot muscular pain. But the numbness is the bulging disc. I'm thinking pressure on a nerve; so another MRI is in my future I fear. But yep a victory I think as well.

Hi.

Congratulations with the things you accomplished. I also have a hard time with understanding the words “moderation in all our affairs.” I'm also feeling the after affects today from "just a little bit more" yesterdays gardening.

BE WELL

I just haven't walked my "old haunts" sober in years, if not decades LoL Was beautiful to say the least. I noticed things I hadn't in the 30yrs I lived here.

Then seeing places I partied at & what not; kinda made me feel good about myself. So pain aside it was a win win.
