I had an AHA moment today

Momma and I were talking about RAXBF and I got sad for a bit and she said " Can I ask you a ? "Moxy" ( my nickname ) Is "M" (the ex ) a man you would want your son to be?
I said no

Then she asked, is "M" someone you would want your daughter to date or marry?

I said no.

Then she looked at me and asked, "then why would you settle for him?"

and it made me cry. I think that little of myself.... anyway... that is why I love my momma she has lived a life, she understands the darkness, the sadness, but also the sunshine.

You have a very smart mama, and you are blessed.

thanks all, it is all a lot to process right now, watching my momma dying, having these talks. I am lucky, and I am happy and blessed, but oh so sad. Kaiflyguy, I hope you have that talk with yours some day

I have asked my husband, would you like it if your son in law treated you daughter this way? Yeah, no answer.
