Red face confused

Hello everybody,
I quit drinking six months ago and i feel happy. ,
I've never felt like that since i was 19. I do however experience some sudden and strong headaches, very similar to the ones I was having the "next day",
Has anyone else the same symptoms after such a long period?

We cannot give medical advice here nonvon, but i'd have to say that it's probably not a "normal" symptom that shows up 6 months after quitting. I'd suggest seeing a doctor if it concerns you or continues.

Welcome to the family and congrats on six months sober! I'd suggest seeing your doctor about the headaches.

Seeing a doctor as others said is a great idea!

You might want to read on post acute withdrawal syndrome. PAWS.

I followed your advice and went to the doc.
Yesterday I read in some sites that withdrall symptoms may last up to a year
