Tired

OMG I'm getting the best deep sleep I have ever had but also more fatigued and tired than I have ever been. On 5 weeks sober looking to find out if this is going to quit soon?

It takes all of us different amounts of time to heal. Are you getting any exercise and eating well too?

Maybe add some light exercise to your routine to get your body moving. Eating something healthier. I have more energy if I'm moving around. It's just hard to get started sometimes. Start small and work from there. Well done on 5 weeks.

First few months I was tired, didn't do much other than go to work then come home and crash.

But eventually I got my spring back in my step, give it more time!!

Congratulations! I'm on day 33 and fatigue is an issue with me too. I've started to walk more and it's hard because I want to eat a lot. I do feel better after a nice walk. It's not fast but I'm building up endurance.

I agree with exercise. It has the added benefit of helping with anxiety and irritability.

When I was newly sober I couldn't sleep more than three hours at a time without getting some exercise. A brisk walk for 30 minutes seemed to be enough.
