Hi friends

So as I said in my other thread I am going it do this challenge for myself still... To those who asked what after 30 days? I don't know the answer to that yet. But I am hoping 30 days will give me a good perspective .

I did decide that I will change my name now though... The one I was thinking is taken... And I can't thing of any now!!! So help in that dept needed

Now for day2 - it's been ok so far. I started back my exercise and water routine. I have identified a friend with whom I can share my urges... I still need to look into meeting and I will post here everyday... So if I get boring still let me post

I agree with Thepatman. I think user names on a recovery forum should be uplifting and positive - something to strive towards. Or something whimsical.

Day3 ... I was lying last night with pain in my upper abdomen...always have it the first week so will see if it goes away in few days. Otherwise will see a doctor.

Other than the pain and night sweats , I am feeling ok today. I am addicted to this site now though. Don't feel I still have a right to give advice but want to encourage all.

Finally I have suggested 2 names to Anna, hopefully one will be ok.

Congrats on day 3 and look forward to the debut of your new name! I think a positive name is a great idea. New way of life, new positive outlook!

I'm probably generalizing somewhat but it seems to me that the vast majority of folks on this board with long term sobriety don't have negative names or names with types of booze mentioned in them.

I agree Casey. I think that's why I failed my attempts before... I was in a dark place and started my thoughts from there. This time I wan to focus on that bright place which is my today and tomorrow

I chose my name because there is nothing more beautiful to me than Bahamian water. I like seeing it and thinking about it. It's meditative.
