Flawed

This time last week after another long binge, I was shaking and already dreading how the next morning at work would be after three consecutive days of sun-up until sundown drinking. Monday was miserable, I was sweating at the office and looked horrible. Tuesday wasn't much better, but as the week went by, it got better. Friday night I hit a meeting to kick off my weekend. I've spent the rest of the weekend getting so much accomplished, eating again, sleeping well and enjoying the wonderful weather here. Tonight, I grilled out and just finished baking my first cake ever...just for fun. One week ago today I was a mess, tonight I am seven days sober and at peace. I quit beating myself up and that made a huge difference, and it let me move on and start to move forward. So, if you've had a rough weekend or past week, it's not too late to start. It is rough, it is not pretty at first, but it is worth it. It gets better.
