No need to apologize to us Liam. Any way you can quit now and cut your losses?

Hey Liam
No need to apologize to us as you've acknowledged you let yourself down. We're still here to support you on a path to sobriety. Are you still drinking? It's easier said than done but a good start would be pour what you have left out.

I know it's fairly late at night in the UK right now. Are you still drinking now? Do you still have alcohol in the house? If so, I highly suggest you pour it down the drain and head to bed. Start over fresh tomorrow, thinking of what you might have done today to keep you from taking that first drink.

We're here for you Liam. There's a different way of life out there and it can be yours starting now.

It will have to end sometime. Quit now and you can recover sooner and quicker. Good luck.

Okay. I'm drinking on my own. Not doing any harm though am I?

Actually you are. You are harming yourself physically and mentally by continuing to binge, and also those around you who see you doing it to yourself. Alcohilism is a very selfish affliction...and we've all been there. Dump it out and drink some water.

Hey Liam, Purpleknight was just trying to help. You're going to read what you posted when you're sober and cringe. Just stop. It's not too late.

Hey Liam ,
have a read through the forums sometime when you get the chance , read some of the stories of other people who got sober .. Have a read of the AA book and see the examples in there maybe ? (even if the language can seem a bit old fashioned, quite often you can find examples very similar to ourselves in it )

Know that you are not alone and that it is possible for us to get sober and live a glorious sober life .

It's sometimes painful and really hard…. but it is possible, it is worthwhile and it can be really, really great .

Keep an open mind and believe that change is possible , even if it seems impossible tonight .

Maybe you didn't get it right this time but there is tomorrow and a lot of other days to get it right .
I didn't learn to ride a bike overnight or perfectly first time , but it was possible . In the same way sobriety is possible too , keep working at it , keep learning .

Maybe detox and inpatient treatment might help ?… you need to chat to your Dr to detox safely and maybe get some extra support ,

Take care , m

Hope you decide to put down the drink today, Liam. There's no better time than now to make a turnaround. Don't dig an even bigger hole for yourself. Come out now

We are all pulling for you...

Liam,

Why not log off, sleep it off and come back when you're better able to take this advice in?

I have read my PM's and I'm really sorry if I've overstepped the mark. Really sorry, but don't think I've offended anyone. Please point out where I have gone wrong, and I will not do it again. I really respect this website, and would like to make a valuable contribution to it. Thanks.
