Focus on staying sober just a an hour or so at a time. Also, remember that if you stay sober, you are going to be so thankful you did in the morning! When everyone is struggling through their hangovers, you will be completely fresh and ready to go.
Hang touch, MyTime86; it's a beautiful day on the East Coast with another beautiful one in the forecast for tomorrow; great time to be sober and enjoy the fresh air and new foliage. Waking to a hang-over free, sober morning is going to feel fantastic.
You are doing great; keep on.

Please don't give in and drink. You'll just feel bad and mad at yourself in the morning. Remind yourself of the reasons you got sober and keep reminding yourself. You can stay sober!

Imagine tonight camping out unable to sleep well, sweating, nauseous...oh and the diarrhea will be great while camping....and waking with the sun feeling physically like you were eaten by a bear and spit out with a splitting headache; not to mention the shame, guilt, self-loathing and depression! Sound like a good time?
I'm really glad you posted too.

Glad you're making it, MyTime! Is there anybody on the trip NOT drinking? Kids can be a blast. So can early bed and an early morning splash in the lake while the hungover ones are groaning.
Breathe deep. Easy does it. You don't drink.

Hey just want to thank everyone for helping me yesterday.
It was a close call but I made it, and I am so grateful. Yesterday was something I needed although it was terrible, it reminded me that I still have work to do.
It also showed me just how much I'm 100% in this and I really never want to drink, to the point it scares me.
Love you all have a safe weekend we will make it!
