Thinking of going to the ER
If you dont go, you will have the anxiety and it will grow, probably. If you go and get help, things will be markedly better for you. You have nothing to lose by going. Anxiety can paralyze a person. You have everything to gain by going.
I have seen many people fear going, its a common thing here, and its hardly ever as bad as they feared, so breathe- and go!

I go to urgent care whenever I think something is really wrong. I have had to go for infections from plants I work with, spider bites, and most recently an ear infection I have had for a couple of months. I did go to the ER for back pain. Personally I think it is a wise choice to go seek help if you feel you need it. I find it helps calm my fears. I hope you go.
Better to go then sit around wondering..
Even if something is wrong, you could find out now and fix it. If you keep waiting it might not work out so well.
I think I saw you mention you have a sponsor. Could they go with you for support?

I have felt exactly as you have before. And Ive been hospitalized numerous times....and I'm alive.
Please go if you need it. I do not agree with "ignorance is bliss" in cases like this. You have us all to support you

I have a story for you.
I avoided going to the doctor pre vacation since I was nervous about blood tests and didn't want to be on an antibiotic during vacation (and thus go alcohol free).
During vacation I ended up in the ED with a pretty serious issue (and a pacemaker and punctured lung) due to Lyme. Ironically my blood work was ideal.
So, I totally understand your feeling- and wish you the courage (that I lacked) to proactively adress the situation.
