Phewwww close call...

At family's house to celebrate my 3 aunts birthdays! the wine and beer was flowing! I was soooo close to taking a glass of champagne during the toast! But didn't! Wow thought I had this! But nope I sure don't! I just told myself over and over again that it just wasn't worth it! One sip of champagne would bring me back to my 2 bottle of wine a day addiction within 3 days tops!

It just sucks that I can never pick up a glass during a celebration ever! I've accepted that but it still sucks though!

Thanks for letting me vent:-(

Way to not 'go back' there, yazzylove! The more time that passed the easier it got for me to fully celebrate the person, event, accomplishment. Hope that you enjoyed your triple birthday celebration. Wow!

Great job on pushing through Yazzy!!

My sister got married this time last year and I've never been to a wedding where the waiters came round before the toast and offered either champaign or a non alcoholic version, they had 2 bottles when they came and everyone chose an option, when the toast finally happened everyone had the same glass, the same colour of liquid and everyone got involved, despite some not drinking.

It was a fantastic idea I thought, but it shows alcohol isn't needed to celebrate there are other ways to be included in the main event of celebrating something!!
