did i do it right
my husband a addict and my daughter ..she not her dad..any way told family and others do not give her money do not help her ay all ..if she goes to rehab and stays gets clean then we can not till then ..time to make it hard for her.if it hard she has no money for food shelter or whatever she might get help ..right now she begs for money and food and hard to see her hungry ..iam doing right ..

Lesa, you did a good thing. I found it helpful to tell friends and family not only to withhold money from my son but also to protect their valuables if he came around, because he would (and did) steal from them.
Once told though, I had to step back and let them decide for themselves. My part was done, giving them a heads up, their part was to decide to do what I suggested or make their own mistakes.
Your daughter remains in my prayers every day, Lesa, as do you.
