1day sober

Wow this is amazing to me to actually have one whole day it was not easy its so weird seeing how much drinking time i have on my hands during the course of a day. At some points in the day i felt so bored without my drink. I wish i had some type of hobby

Hi.

When I finally sobered up the war cry in AA was to go to 90 meetings in 90 days. Going to 2-3 meetings is not hurtful and helps get ourselves with our recovery.

Very beneficial.

Congratulations on 1 day mbrown, do you have a bicycle? just watch out for the cars, texting drivers tend to drift, even other cyclists have been a close call for me

Congrats and good luck. Last night I got a call hours after I got off work to go to a huge barn sale...I was able to go bc I wasn't drunk and got a bunch of killer records in pristine condition for barely any money and a bunch of other cool things. I'm on day five. It isn't easy but Def worth it!

Welcome mbrown. Find something that interest you and give it a whirl. Helps with keeping your mind occupied. And drop in often. The people here are a great help.
