I havent logged in for almost a week, honestly I've avoided it because i felt negative and I just want to help myself and others here, didnt want to add negativity.ive kind of been a mess, been so close to buying alcohol but tried to stay strong, ive been irritated, some days worse than others, sick, migraines, insomnia has gotten worse, and then i realized today im on day 20. I havent been sober this long in a long time, on May 23 I will be a month sober. Even today i had those thoughts of "hmmm, i could use a drink maybe ill go get one and listen to music", but fortunately that "hey you cant just have one, remember?!" Voice chimed in, ugh im so stressed, im prone to headaches and i would drink to calm them down. Its been tough just riding it out. Anyhow i hope you are all doing better than me. Stay strong awsome people!

I don't post often, but I still check in and read SR often.

There are always words of encouragement here.

It is tough at first. Each day I realize how valuable the gift of sobriety is.

For me it is a personal Miracle that took me over 43 year of drinking to find.

One month and beyond of sobriety will be here before you know it.
