I'm back, and I'm sober

Past all the physical stuff that comes with relapse, and feeling healthy. Just a check in. I appreciate everyone's posts to all threads.

It helped me get there, among other things/tools.

I went to detox, but didn't need the medication, and vitals stayed stable the entire time I was there. Blood work came back great. But for anyone who has been to detox, you come back so tired. They come in and check vitals, etc. every two hours during the night.

BUT, they have a 28 day program where I went, so I got to sit in on all their groups, do their activities, meet a great group of people, and load up on AA numbers.

It was a great "booster shot" for recovery, and really good to spend so much concentrated time working on myself in the company of others.
