Still sober !
Still sober !
7 days here folks
Yesturday I came SO close to cracking and having a drink! I was waiting in my mates car while he went to the supermarket for some food, and all these folks coming out of the shop with beer crates ughhhh I was DROOLING! I even felt this overwhelming sense of sadness come over me and actually felt rather tearful that I couldn't drink, how crazy is that!
Anyways here I am day 7 sober

Yep totally! Speaking about that with my therapist this Tuesday, also long daily walks as I know they helped me years ago when I was suffering with things.
Oh and eating right etc plays a lot of importance on the health of our minds.
Who knows my therapist might even suggest AA for me, I don't know anything yet until I speak with her

Hi.
It should not be a secret that you don’t need an invitation to go to or join AA.
It’s there for ANYONE who has a desire to stop drinking, at NO cost. Perhaps a small donation of $1 or so IF you can afford it to help with coffee and rent.
BE WELL

Day 7 is great news and good on you for not drinking. I actually found it really hard to go to the supermarket during the first few days of sobriety but now I put my headphones on, go in with a list and I'm determined! It'll get better and definitely stick with this new journey :-)
