Day 5

Day 5 here, hanging on in there ONE day at a time Still dizzy but at the same time starting to feel a bit fresher, I think maybe im coming out of the withdrawals now which feels rather liberating to say the least!

Well the weather is fresh and crisp here, I think some walks with the dog and garden time is on the menu for today, have a blessed sober day folks

Congrats on day 5 Chilled, keep it up.

Give your dog a hug for me. I have two myself, and love them to no end.

I swear my dog is the softest natured thing on this planet, although his snoring does keep the house awake typical of bull terriers!

Awww, bull terriers are sweet little guys.

Mine are... hmmm... they're really great boys, and extremely friendly, as long as they like you. If they don't like you (ie. you come close to my gate in dirty work clothes, or something) you're going to get told to F off.

It's good though, let's me sleep well at night, knowing I don't have to worry about someone breaking in. If you want to break in, you have 60kg of healthy dog to get through first, so it works as good deterrent.

What breed are they? I had a rottie once, 150lbs looked like a bear but he was a gentle dog. Its always good to have a bit of security in the house, sadly in this day and age things are not looking pretty out there!

No idea what breeds to be honest, lol

One is a lab mixed with something. Not sure, he came from my old next door neighbour.

The other one is just a village dog. Think he has a bit german shepherd in him, but not sure. My ex's little brother showed up at the house one morning with a plastic crate of 8 3 week old puppies. Way too young to be taken from their mom, but whatever, we took them in, nursed them up until they were 8 weeks, then began giving away all we could.

Nobody wanted Boxer though, so I kept him. He's pretty lucky, actually. I highly doubt his brothers and sisters get steak or pork tenderloin for dinner, lol

The first weekend is the toughest. Hang in there and keep putting one thing in front of the other.
