just an update

Hey friends,

First off, I want you all to know that I haven't been posting much, but its only because I haven't too much to report. That's good, right?

But I've also found that along with the quiet comes an almost ominous peace, which makes me uncomfortable. It forces me to look at myself. I have NO excuse to be focused on AH. Not that I ever did to begin with, but as of now, he is making it VERY easy to not be focused on him. His recovery is going well right now.

So it's just me. There is so much crap I've been sifting through in therapy that it's kept me busy.
Finals are next week. I've got all my stuff ready to plant a garden, yay!

I'm hanging in there. Hope you all are too! Happy mothers day to all our SR mommies!!!! Love you guys!

freetosmile....I am so glad that you have continued with your therapy during this time.
I believe that any time spent on yourself....understanding yourself and self-development....is always a good thing!

I love gardening! (it is also a good way to bond with the kids). I remember putting my kids in "charge" of one vegetable of their choosing---and, I helped them with the caring for the vegetable in the evenings. They were so proud when their vegetable reached maturity!!!
What are you planning to grow??

That's VERY VERY GOOD!!

Around here, calm / even keel / boring = HEALTHY!!

Have fun with your garden!! I'm a gardener too and I just bought a new dehydrator and can't wait to have pickles, tomato sauce, salsa, apples, strawberries, and fresh herbs all winter!!

Nice update!

good luck with your finals. I love to plant. I'm not doing a garden this year but I always plant flowers.

I'm really happy that winter is over!

we get so busy swatting at the hornets around their heads we forget to notice we are standing in poison ivy.

I'm going to plant a ton of spinach. We love spinach salads ( especially in the summer!) I'm planting peppers, tomatoes, beans, corn, Brussels, ave a couple other things.... Mainly stuff for salads.
I'm back to exercising and getting the family back on a better diet ( I kinda let our diets go since AH went to treatment), so the garden will help with both diet and exercise!

Good to hear the update Free! I know it's hard to work on internal stuff, but it's always worth it in the end!
