Brief introduction
Hello! I am new to the site. I am an alcoholic. I am having a hard time finding friends. I have cut most people out of my life because I want to lead a sober and healthy life! I am a separated mother of five with not a lot of time but friends would be nice to have when it is me time! I am a strong woman and a good listener. It's great to be here!

I don't know how long you have sober but do you have a plan in place to deal with any cravings, stress etc (I drink when I'm stressed so I have to have something in place to help me)?
This forum is an amazing resource and I urge you to read widely around here and ask for help when you need it :-)

Plenty of sober friends here on site for you I'm sure.
Keep an eye out for those Special Sober Ladies that will help you to follow the path. Many will be chiming in to say hi and offer to you a word of encouragement. Once again, welcome.

I have been sober for 105 days. I am really enjoying it. I am trying to stay away from negative people and situations, that helps immensely with the cravings. I am re-teaching myself positive affirmations and that helps keep me focused on me. Cravings with always be there and I know that, but I just try to focus on my goal to be happy and healthy. Nice to meet you!
