Night 2

The good 'ol detox shakes and insomnia are in full effect. I hope everyone is doing ok today! Usually tomorrow I start exercising after my blood pressure and all that gets down.

On a side note, I bought a new car so I can finally pick up my son from daycare. (That wasn't easy in a mustang gt)

((hug))

Have you been eating? Healthy food? Makes a huge difference, or at least for me it does.

No exactly. Did well at lunch, had a salad. Unfortunately my wife wanted five guys burgers and fries for dinner. I'll get back in my game tomorrow for sure though!

Just read your post and glad that you are back on the road to sobriety. I was thinking about how grateful I am that I no longer have to deal with the symptoms of detoxing or a hangover. I've moved beyond to dealing with the "emotional feelings" of living sober. While those feelings can be tough sometimes; they will never be as tough as the emotional and physical first getting sober feels like. For me to stay on the sober path means absolute acceptance that alcohol and I can no longer have a relationship. Alcohol will kill me dead. Do whatever it is that you need to do to get on this sober path and do whatever you need to do to stay there......
