new here

I just stumbled upon this website
I've been sober for seven months and its not that I'm against AA I just don't go often so I thought I would try this..
I don't have many sober friends and my current boyfriend who I live with doesn't understand alcoholism.
I was recently let go from my first sober job - the staff didn't know how to handle an alcoholic in recovery.

I'd just like to share

Hello!

7 months sober is brilliant. I'm sorry to hear about work but don't forget, you're sober and that's a massive thing. I wish you the best of luck on your job search and stay on your path :-)

I'm intrigued?? What should they have 'handled' that they couldn't?
