This morning I heard the story of a man that drank, and drank and drank, and lost his family and drank. Got himself into a bind drinking with the law, got out and did the natural thing for him he drank.

Then he said one day he realized the drinking wasn't working. He had lost everything and had a crappy high to cope. Then you he told me daily drinking for 14 years, prison, losing everything. You don't want that!

He then talked about how he got sober, and about crying days, and losing friends, and about a crappy year as he described it, now he works out daily, has a new wife and kids and is working on getting his record cleaned. This shows me that if I drink it can get worse, way worse apparently, but also showed me that it can get a lot better.

Don't know, but I am glad I went to this meeting and glad I spent the time to talk to people after this meeting.

Anewday, long time no see, what going on? I hope your ok, and getting your feet planted on the ground again. I am settling in for the long ride this time, like forever...... Never going to drink again, we can and will do this.
